Cut 44 pieces of batten, each 60cm long, each with both ends mitred on the same side at 45°.
This will enable both the version I have done, which has internal dimensions of 60 by 60 cm and corners like this:
and a slightly smaller version with external dimensions of 60 by 60cm and mitred corners.
